The Hole has announced its newest exhibition, entitled Giverny, which is collaboration between artists E.V. Day and Kembra Pfahler. The artists have created photographic works i the famous French gardens built and immortalized in paint by Claude Monet, and will be exhibiting them from the first time.

Giverny is sponsored by Playboy.com, and has transformed the Hole’s artistic space into a living garden with a lIly padded pond, Japanese arched bridges, and scattered indigenous plants from his famous paintings. In addition the walls of the exhibition will be printed with green willow trees and visitors will cross the threshold of the gallery onto grassed floors.

The aim of the exhibit is to reexamine the history behind these iconic works, and to throw a modern and stark twist into the traditional work.
