There is a great show that opened recently just outside of Washington D.C. at the Arlington Arts Center.  Curator/Writer Julie Chae and Curator/Artist Kristina Bilonick have teamed up to curate “Ctrl+P,” a large, dynamic exhibition that explores new directions in printmaking. Julie and Kristina brought different perspectives and approaches to organizing the show, but both shared an interest in artists who rethink the traditional notion of printmaking as multiples and whose works exhibit stunning technical skill in printmaking. 

Artists in the exhibition include emerging artists from NYC and D.C., international artists such as Glenn Ligon, Paul Chan, E.V. Day and Byron Kim, and other notable artists such as Marie Lorenz, Melissa Brown, Rob Swainston, Brian Chippendale, Jungil Hong, Kyle Durrie, Steve Lambert, Kelly Sherman, Barbara Takenaga, Anne Albagli, Jordan Bernier, Kris Chatterson, Billy Colbert, Vince Contarino, Christopher Davison, Anthony Dihle, Jeremy Flick, Tim Gibbon, Gary Katchadourian, Hugh Leeman, Esperanza Mayobre, Serena Perrone, Gretchen Schermerhorn and Franc Rosario.
